2 Boards and a Human Filling

.......???

another blog coming from me in Bangkok.

yeah... there hasnt been anything really big in a while. only really small meetings where we meet up with the LC Central Bangkok OC team to discuss further on the project and going out to buy materials in Chinatown (psst, good place to buy really darn cheap fashion acccesories!), my discussion with the AIESEC members from University of the Thai Chambers of Commerce (UTCC) since I'm staying with one of them, Pheung. No idea what the guys do though...

apart from that, we took yesterday to do our sandwich boards. as expected, not all the OC and representatives of other LC involved were present. Miw, Warn, Tie (pronounced Tee as in chor tai tee), Gig, Suang, Win and the 3 of us were preparing the boeards at Bangkok University, Rangsit campus. it's in the next province, Pathum Thani, not too far from Pui's place. we decided to get the work done there as BU is the first location of our roadshow. i hope the next time, Thailand time don't end up as "Malaysian time"! probably due to the fact as it's far away from central Bangkok, but that shouldnt happened. was checking out the girls as they're dressed in various black skirts (mostly in really short ones) and snugly-fitting shirts. i know... but the guys were like all in baggy pants and Japanese long hair-styled which was not inviting! LOL!!!

Work started out really slow. must be the scorching heat or overexcess of exhaust fumes from the buses that stop at the Rest Area 1 (highly populated with students as it's opposite the cafateria). they also had the linked carriage, those that you see going around in the zoo. Kinda cool eh?

pace started picking up about really much later when we got the hang of it. We're using stickers by the way, so there was a lot of errors and correcting (I call it sticker reconstruction... sounds like plastic surgery!). by the time it was dark and the mossies starting swarming over the place, the work was done! phew.... the plastic stickers weren't easy... but at least we can pull them out and redo.

by this time, there are still work to be done and oversee. mainly information-wise. one cannot expect the members here to do things as good and fast as the work done by the members back home. University term just started a week ago and members are also busy with the recruitment drive. and also other complicating issues with the foundation of the members about AIESEC. Nevertheless, things will work out eventually albiet really last minute. everyone learns from errors, right?

that's all for now. hopefully things will turn out ok at BU this coming wednesday, 14 June. Until then!!
